A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO TAHA SCHOOL: TAHA SCHOOL is run by ARQUM WELFARE & EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, BIJAPUR (A.W.E.SOCIETY BIJAPUR) under the able guidance of Shri, Mohd Rafiq Ahmed, chairman, Smt, S. Shahina, director of TAHA SCHOOL. It consists of spacious and well- ventilated classrooms and is provided with all the modern infrastructural facilities such as smart classes comfortable furniture, latest materials for play as well as for learning.SCHOOL BACKGROUND: The school was established in 2012 and it is managed by the Private Unaided Management. It is located in urban area. It is located in BIJAPUR CITY block of BIJAPUR district of KARNATAKA. The school consists of Grades from Nursery, LKG, UKG, & 1 to 5. The school is coeducational and it does have an attached pre-primary section. The school is residential in nature and is not using school building as a shift school. During the previous academic year, the school functioned for 230 days URDU / KANNADA & ENGLISH are the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather roads. In this school academic session starts in June.SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE: TAHA SCHOOL have well equipped libraries and facilities are provided for playing indoor and outdoor games. There are qualified & competent teachers to take care of students. The main objective of these institutions is to insure all-round development of young boys & girls who join these institutions. That is to impart ‘MAN MAKING EDUCATION’ as conceived by swami Vivekananda. “Computer Education” is also introduced in the school in an appropriate manner and as per the suggestions of experts in the field & having 3 computer aided learning lab (SMART CLASSES). The school arranged medical checkup for its students during the previous academic year the school has 6 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. All the institutions founded by our chairman have made a name for quality education.TEACHERS: The school has a regular Head Master/Teacher. The school has 9 regular teachers in position. All the teachers of school are female teachers. It has no Contract Teacher. The school has 3 nonteaching staff. All teachers of school are having graduate and above degrees. On the other hand, all teachers have professional certification /degrees. The Pupil Teacher Ratio (PTR) of the school is 25:1 and the Student Class room Ratio (SCR), 25:1. on an average, about 25 students sit in one classroom which sounds comfortable. During the previous academic year, no teacher was engaged for even a single day in nonteaching assignments.EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: The authorities of the school believe in the efficiency of the extra curricular activities in the life of the pupils.
