It took a long time to conceive ‘RusTeak’, the bespoke furniture Online based out of Mumbai. Almost 2 decades of doing other work but dreaming to be on my own. Hardwood is always fascinated me. The furniture made of hardwood is exquisite and unique. Traveling across places and getting inspired by the ‘pure wood’ products. Different at different places. Always amazed to see the difference and yet uniformity, the variety and yet consistency. The mystique led me to explore the medium. Dirtying hands and after long sitting with the tools that had once been a part of the learning process, in my engineering days. Understanding the new, the change in technology, the processes while retaining the passion that I started with. Holding though the pandemic or rather evolving and creating newer milestones. Looking at the trends and the way the consumers were going - Bespoke furniture online in Mumbai was the way forward. Preserving our identity and our customization feature I conceptualized the Rusteak world and thus began our online journey. Making mistakes, improvising, treading cautiously we have evolved.
