Achieving Stars Therapy

Achieving Stars Therapy is a multi-state provider of in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental differences. Therapy is clinician-led: a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes the assessment, writes the treatment plan, and supervises Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who deliver 1:1 sessions in the home. The model is play-based and naturalistic. Goals commonly include functional communication and language, social skills, daily living and independence, play and leisure, school readiness, toilet training, and reduction of challenging behavior. Parent and caregiver coaching is built into every case so strategies continue between sessions. The team also collaborates with schools and IEP teams when needed. Leadership includes Cassandra Mathias, M.S., BCBA, Founder and Clinical Director (10+ years of ABA experience); Samantha Seidenberger, M.Ed., BCBA, Senior BCBA; and Melissa Rackliff, M.S., BCBA, Family Services Coordinator. Differentiating points they emphasize: exclusively (or primarily) in-home care, no waitlists, fast start after insurance authorization, Medicaid coverage for eligible families, and membership in Autism Society chapters in the states they serve. Typical intake: free benefits check in 24–48 hours, BCBA evaluation shortly after authorization, and therapy start within about 1–2 weeks.
