Antique furniture is not just a piece of wood covered with fabric. It is a piece of history, an heirloom, and a personal heritage. It is a reminder of something that was and where someone came from. Providing antique furniture upholstery restoration requires skill and care, and we possess both.
When a piece comes into our shop for restoration, we provide complete re-upholstery service. Stripping it to the frame, we re-create the piece in its entirety. Using the highest quality of materials made of fabric or leather, we make new cushions and backs as needed. Before adding it back onto the frames we refinish the frames using a special paint, so as to give the furniture that antique style appearance. Then we place the upholstery back onto the refinished frame, and out of the old was created a new!
