In 2012 my wife and I faced the dilemma of helping her mother return home safely after a hospital stay. We lived almost 1,500 miles away and we found, like so many other Americans, that the home care services available were very confusing, and often very expensive. We made a lot of mistakes- ending up with services from agencies with very low care quality standards and poor customer service levels. We knew there had to be a better way. So, we started a home care agency focused solely on providing top-shelf care quality and customer service. The agency is highly successful, but we soon discovered that not everyone wants or needs a caregiver in their home for hours each day….it can be expensive and even somewhat intrusive.
