The Ministry of Railways has privatized Habibganj Railway Station, making it India's first private railway station built under the PPP partnership system. It is built with all the modern facilities for railway passengers. The station has the facilities like a shopping complex, cafeterias, medical shops, florist shops, retail spaces, bookshops, forex kiosks, etc. Bansal Group (M/S Bansal Pathways Habibganj Private Limited) has taken the responsibility from IRSDC, of turning the railway station into a benchmark for all similar future endeavors.
