As a community-based arts organization, Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre is grateful for your presence here today. Our Oakville, Ontario location sits on 12 acres of peaceful greenery, providing guests with the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We provide a wide variety of artistic opportunities for people of all ages, including classes, workshops, camps, and exhibitions. Known and emerging Canadian artists alike can be found in our vast collection of contemporary art.

Events of this kind, such as weddings and business retreats, are ideal for our location. Also, local artists and craftspeople have their wares displayed in our gift shop. Our goal at Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre Company is to construct a community center that welcomes everyone from diverse backgrounds and interests. We envision it as a place where people can come together to create and appreciate art, all while surrounded by stunning natural surroundings.

In addition to Emmanuel College and Toronto's St. Thomas Anglican Church, Sybil has created fiber art for the music departments of the University of Ottawa and Princess Margaret Hospital. She has written for a number of fiber art magazines and is highly accomplished. "Pocket Eden," "The Grannies," and "The Milkwood Angel" are just a few of her numerous books.

For the last 65 years, she has devoted herself to her community by doing her best to keep its history alive. She finally achieved her goal of establishing the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre after her five sons departed the home. The preservation of the 20,000-year-old valley, its ancient structures, and the open ground within it is her life's work.
