My name is Adam Stockton and I am the proud owner of Stockton Plumbing. As a kid my grandfather was always building and fixing things. He was a carpenter, electrician, furniture and cabinet builder as well as a plumber. Around age 10 my first experience with plumbing was helping him rebuild a shower valve in their home. He told me that it was a good way to make an honest living and help people and that plumbers will always be needed. I helped him every chance I could over the years and learned so much from him before he passed away. After my junior year of high school I needed a job for the summer. Oddly enough our neighbor was the estimator for a large plumbing company in Garland and he got me a job as a plumbing apprentice. I worked my butt off that summer doing mostly new construction plumbing and I have to admit I enjoyed it! It felt good to finish a job and look at the finished product knowing that there were things in the wall and underground that I installed or helped install. I
