The Indo U.S. Organization for Rare Diseases (IndoUSrare) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with rare and underserved medical conditions of Indian origin across the USA, India, and globally. IndoUSrare fosters collaboration among researchers, healthcare providers, and patient communities to advance diagnostics and therapies through comprehensive education, advocacy, research, and grant programs.
Our mission prioritizes patient-centric initiatives in line with the FDA's patient-focused drug development (PFDD) paradigm. This includes the Diversity Patients Alliance Program, tech-enabled Patients Concierge, Corporate Diversity Advisory Council (CDAC), research programs, and national and international conferences, ensuring extensive support and engagement for those affected.
