Founded originally in 1955 as the Maxson-Betts company, E.W. “Max” Maxson and his business partner established a foundation of assisting architects during the design phase of the project while faithfully executing the delivery and installation of the products as designed. The company originally sold just doors and windows but quickly added specialty products like rolling steel doors and loading dock equipment over the next 20 years. In 1976, Max sold his stock to his partner to form Maxson and Associates, Inc. in order to serve his architectural and general contractor clients better and create a path for succession.
