Dr Sze Ling Wong is a highly trained and experienced General Surgeon specialising in Endocrine Surgery with specific interests in all aspects of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal procedures. Having completed her training in General Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2012, Dr Wong then spent 2 years of post-fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery at The Alfred in Melbourne and Royal Perth Hospital in Perth.
She is sought after for minimally invasive procedures to treat endocrine cancers, including ‘Scarless’ Transoral Thyroidectomy. She performs well within best practicestandards in all clinical performance indicators relevant toendocrine surgery (recurrent nerve injury, haematoma,hypoparathyroidism, and infection rates).
To achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for her patients, Dr Wong also devotes time to training, mentoring, leadership, and community roles. She was awarded the 2019 General Surgeons Australia Excellence in Surgical Teaching Award. She also
