Prometheus Sailing is the proactive yacht monitoring company behind the Prometheus Sailing UK fleet of charter sailing yachts. Led by MD Simon Boulding together with his highly skilled team, that in between them have over 90 years experience at running highly specialist: - yacht charters - flotilla sailing - corporate racing events - RYA sea school training Having directed Sunsail's Port Solent based operations for 7 years, Prometheus Sailing was established in 2021 as the moment was right for the team to take over ownership and administration of the fleet. Our name Prometheus Sailing was influenced by the Greek god Prometheus. His function in Greek mythology was to bring knowledge and civilisation to mankind. We run the biggest sailing school in the UK, instructing many individuals to sail yearly. Likewise we introduce and instruct lots of people to enjoy sailing through our corporate sailing tasks. From this our company name was born.
