I’m a registered Soft Tissue Therapist with the ISRM, qualified with a level 5 diploma having trained with the Oxford School of Sports Massage. As a qualified therapist, I have a detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology and a full understanding of the body’s ability to move. This knowledge underpins my ability to treat a range of muscular and skeletal conditions providing effective relief for my clients. Having personally experienced the positive impact of treatment from a vocational and sporting perspective, I strongly believe that soft tissue therapy promotes relaxation of tense and fatigued muscles with the restoration of mobility and flexibility of muscles and/or joints. Soft tissue therapy can benefit anyone and is not limited to individuals involved in sporting activities. The ongoing prevalence of working from home during and post the Covid-19 pandemic has seen a significant increase of upper back, shoulder and neck issues. Regardless of the cause, pain and discomfort can lead to poor mobility, low self-esteem, lack of sleep and inactivity. Soft tissue therapy can alleviate the associated symptoms and allow a return to a more active lifestyle. I will provide you with a remedial exercise programme that will enable you to strengthen your muscles and minimise the risk of further injury.
