Every year, more than 300,000 people in the US suffer from sudden cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, most do not survive. Simon's Heart is a Philadelphia based nonprofit organization that's been working tirelessly to educate and raise awareness on sudden cardiac arrest, as well as other heart conditions such as enlarged heart and long qt syndrome. The organization's mission is to prevent every possible sudden cardiac arrest and death in infants, children, and young adults.
