SKYDAN Equity Partners practices a form of foreclosure relief. Homeowners are selling their homes to the lessor in return for being relieved from foreclosure and are allowed to stay as renters. The homeowner is not "tapping into equity" as in a home equity loan. They are selling their home to the business, renting it and then, in best case scenarios, will be in a position to buy it back.
