About
Total dissolved solids and electrical conductivity are two useful parameters for understanding changes in water quality. Conductivity indicates how easily water conducts electricity, while TDS represents the concentration of dissolved substances. Because the two measurements are related, conductivity can be used to estimate TDS in many water monitoring applications.
The SUCH TDS conductivity sensor uses dual graphite electrodes for conductivity measurement and provides TDS data together with water temperature and salinity information. The graphite electrode design offers good corrosion resistance and stable performance, making the sensor suitable for continuous monitoring in different water environments.
For system integration, the sensor uses an RS485 interface with the standard MODBUS-RTU protocol. This allows measurement data to be transferred to monitoring equipment, controllers, or upper-level computer systems for centralized observation and recording. Temperature compensation can also be used to account for the effect of water temperature on conductivity measurements.
The SUCH TDS conductivity sensor can be used in aquaculture, wastewater monitoring, environmental protection, electronics, pharmaceutical processes, and other applications where continuous water parameter measurement is required. Its combination of conductivity, TDS, temperature, salinity, and digital communication makes it suitable for automated water quality monitoring systems.
