Mekanagadde Homestay is a heritage homestay with the house being 100 years old located in between Sakleshpur and Chikmagalur. In 1980's the house was renovated with a modern touch of architecture. Since the house was best suited to run homestay business, in 2008 with the help of Karnataka Tourism, the homestay was named as "Mekanagadde Homestay".
