KaWaii Baby was started in 2008 in Vancouver, BC, Canada by April Choy, after learning how toxic disposable diapers can be to both the environment and babies. “I was shocked to find out that disposable diapers can take as many as 500 years to decompose. Additionally, they may contain dioxin, a harmful byproduct of the bleaching process that could come into contact with your baby’s skin.” Another disturbing fact: disposable diapers are made from materials that can trigger allergies, limit air circulation, and increase body heat – conditions known to cause diaper rash and promote infection. “I love my family and the environment and I want to provide the best for them.”
Since our founding in 2008, KaWaii Baby has satisfied thousands of parents around the globe. Our goal is to continue educating parents about the benefits and ease of cloth diapering.
